How we fund our reviews

The plain version of how Metabolic Pantry makes money, and exactly where that money touches what you see on the page.

We earn from some links

Key thing: some outbound links here are affiliate links, and buying through one may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. When a product or provider we cover links out to its own seller, that link can be tracked so we get a small share if you go on to purchase. You pay the same price you would have paid otherwise. That commission is what keeps Metabolic Pantry running and reader-funded, rather than sold to an advertiser.

Where the money touches the page

Key thing: placement on a ranked page is what our funding moves — the write-up and the score are not. We think the products we are paid to refer earn their place on a published per-bottle price, a real formula and honest positioning — and the write-up beside each one gives our reasoning and its trade-offs, so you can argue with the evidence rather than take our word for it. Separately, every product carries a 0–5 score, and the “shelf” at the top of that page is sorted by that score — which is why a drugstore fiber supplement we earn nothing from lands on a higher shelf than several branded “GLP-1” products that cost a great deal more.

Nobody gets to approve their own review

Key thing: no advertiser, affiliate partner or seller previews, approves or edits our work before it goes live. The trade-offs printed under a partner are the trade-offs we would print if it paid us nothing — you will find the compounded-medication caveat, the missing third-party seal and the subscription-only pricing called out on partner pages as plainly as anywhere else.

The relationships we may have

Key thing: our commercial ties are limited to affiliate and referral arrangements, and we assume you should know about all of them. In practice that means performance-based affiliate links and referral programs with sellers or providers we review. We are not the manufacturer, pharmacy, or point of sale for anything we cover, and we do are open about the fact that the telehealth providers we review are drawn from programmes we earn from, so those pages are not a survey of the market and we do not present them as one.

A note on prices and terms

Key thing: always confirm the current price and terms on the seller's own page before you buy. Prices, discounts, and formulas change, and a page here is a snapshot in time. What you see at checkout with the seller is what governs your purchase, not what a review said on the day it was written.
