Medical disclaimer
Read this before you act on anything here. It spells out what Metabolic Pantry can and cannot do for you when it comes to your health.
What this site is for
Key thing: everything on Metabolic Pantry is education, not medical advice. We research natural GLP-1 support, metabolic supplements, prescription GLP-1 options, and the food side of appetite and blood-sugar control so you can read up and ask better questions. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a recommendation aimed at your specific body, history, or medications. Treat it the way you would a well-sourced magazine feature: useful background, not a prescription.
Reading this does not make us your clinician
Key thing: using Metabolic Pantry creates no clinician–patient relationship. We do not know you, we are not examining you, and we are not monitoring your care. The people behind this desk are researchers and writers, not your treating provider. If a page seems to speak to your situation, that is general pattern and coincidence, not personal medical judgment about you.
Talk to a licensed professional first
Key thing: check with a licensed clinician before you start, stop, or change anything. That covers any medication, supplement, injection, or eating plan you are weighing after reading here. A qualified professional can factor in your conditions, your prescriptions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and the interactions we have no way of seeing. Please do not delay care or ignore advice you have already been given because of something you read on this site.
Results are personal, not promised
Key thing: individual results vary, and nothing here is a guarantee. Weight, appetite, and metabolic response depend on genetics, diet, activity, sleep, other conditions, and plain luck. Any outcome mentioned in our reviews or research is context, not a forecast of what will happen for you. Assume your experience will differ.
Emergencies
Key thing: in an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. If you think you are having a medical crisis — a severe reaction, chest pain, trouble breathing, thoughts of self-harm — get help immediately rather than searching this site for answers. We are not a crisis service and cannot respond in real time.
GLP-1 and compounded medications
Key thing: compounded GLP-1 is not the same as an FDA-approved brand, and the prescribing decision belongs to a clinician. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved products and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality the way branded Wegovy, Ozempic, or Zepbound have. Formulation, dosing, and sourcing can differ from the brand versions, and only a licensed prescriber who knows your history can decide whether any GLP-1 — compounded or branded — is appropriate for you. We describe how these options work in general; we do not tell you to take them.
Food and nutrition content
Key thing: our pantry and nutrition writing is general wellness information, not a personalized diet plan. When we cover fiber, protein, whole foods, or so-called natural GLP-1 eating, we are describing broad principles drawn from the published record. None of it is calibrated to your calorie needs, allergies, medications, or medical conditions. For an eating plan built around you, see a registered dietitian or your clinician.
Third-party products and providers
Key thing: mentioning a product, brand, or provider is not an endorsement of it for you. We review and compare third parties we do not control, and we cannot vouch for their manufacturing, their clinical practices, or how a given item will suit your health. Confirm current ingredients, warnings, pricing, and licensing on the seller's or provider's own page, and bring anything you are considering to a professional.
Accuracy and updates
Key thing: we aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee it, and the science keeps moving. We tie claims back to primary research and official labeling, yet evidence, formulas, and prices change, and errors happen. Anything you read is a snapshot in time. Verify current details before you rely on them, and treat older pages with extra caution.
Questions
Key thing: reach us at notes@metabolicpantry.com with anything about this disclaimer. We read what comes in, though we cannot answer personal medical questions or give advice about your care — that is a conversation for you and your clinician.
